Morning Worship – 10.30am

This service typically lasts up to 75 mins. It is a time for Christians to focus on the Lord Jesus Christ and call to remembrance his death, burial & resurrection. The men will lead in public worship and praise.  Slightly more traditional songs will be sung.

This service culminates in communion where we share bread and wine. This is based on  Jesus Christs teaching to His followers when He said: ‘This (bread) is my  body which is for you; do this in remembrance of me’ and ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this whenever you drink it in remembrance  of me’. (The Bible: 1 Corinthians 11 verses 24 & 25).

Everyone is welcome and those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and have been baptised can participate, others can simply observe.

A creche is available during this service for pre-school children.

Family Service – 12.15pm

This service lasts for 45 mins. This is a bright service for all the family where a time of musical praise is followed by interesting and  challenging talks from the bible. The children leave after a short period and go to their own ‘Sunday Club’ for primary school aged children and ‘Junior Church’ for  pre-school children.

Free Coffee, tea & refreshments are served just prior to this service at 11.45 – 12.10pm

Prayer, Praise and Bible Teaching – 6.00pm

This service begins with a time of public prayer to God for our church, our town and national/international issues. This is followed by a short time of contemporary musical praise & worship usually led by our praise group, after which bible teaching starts and continues until approximately 7:15pm.

Prayer Time – 8.00pm

This service lasts up to 60 mins and the main focus of the evening is prayer.

Prayer is a central part of our life as a church. It is the way we  communicate with God. The purpose of prayer is to:

  • Thank God for who he is and all he has done for us
  • Confess the things we have done wrong and ask forgiveness
  • Talk to God about the things that concern us

We believe God hears and answers prayer. We have many examples to prove it!
